Documents you need

Customer responsibility & document review

You must check and approve quantities, prices, drawings, assumptions and final documents before issuing them or using them for work. Preliminary sketches require the appropriate technical review and approvals.

Read service terms, responsibility limits & indemnity

Rapid Quality Docs service terms · Version 2026-10-25.1. These terms concern our service to the commissioning business. They do not replace that business’s quotation terms with its own client.

Service scope

Rapid Quality Docs provides estimating and document preparation with due care and skill, within the agreed written scope. The Customer is the business commissioning our service. Site inspection, verification of installed works, certified design and statutory certification are excluded unless expressly agreed in writing.

Customer information and verification

The Customer must provide accurate, complete and current project information and advise changes promptly. Before quoting its own client, ordering, constructing or using documents, the Customer must check and approve site dimensions, quantities, products, rates, labour, waste, delivery, access, inclusions, exclusions, margins and programme assumptions. The Customer remains responsible for its final selling price and commitments to its client.

Technical review and approvals

Preliminary sketches, estimates and programmes are for review and planning, not construction instructions. The Customer must obtain the competent technical review, coordination, licences, permits, manufacturer confirmations, installation certificates and approvals required for the works. Document preparation or a standards check is not installation certification or approval to construct.

Document review and use

The Customer must review drafts and report errors, omissions and amendments before approval or use. Silence, downloading or accepting these terms does not approve documents. Use is limited to the stated project, purpose and revision; later changes require review. We remain responsible for correcting errors in our agreed services as required by contract and law.

Responsibility for customer-caused loss

Subject to the rights below, Rapid Quality Docs is not responsible for loss to the extent caused by incorrect or incomplete Customer information, unauthorised changes, use outside the agreed purpose, use of superseded or unapproved drafts, or failure to perform the Customer checks above. This does not exclude liability for our own negligence, breach of contract or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Proportionate customer indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, the Customer indemnifies Rapid Quality Docs for third-party claims and reasonable direct losses and costs only to the extent caused by the Customer's negligence, wilful misconduct or breach of these responsibilities. It excludes loss caused or contributed to by Rapid Quality Docs' negligence, breach or unlawful conduct. We must reasonably mitigate loss, give prompt claim notice and allow reasonable participation in the defence. Settlement binding the Customer requires its consent, not unreasonably withheld.

Rights preserved

Nothing excludes, restricts or modifies guarantees, rights or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. Our own legal responsibilities remain with us.
